Programmable Logic Controllers are used industrally for such things as motor starters, safety interlocks, process controls and such. They work directly with the "ladder" logic schematics common to traditional industrial electronics.

This Allen Bradley Bulletin 1745 SLC is an older unit that remains eminently suitable for teaching and learning PLC's, besides being an economical solution for smaller and ongoing industrial interface projects.

Consists of a heavy duty 15 x 15 x 10 inch plastic rotomolded case that holds a SLC100 programmable controller and a handheld pocket programmer 1745-PT1. Also included are five input pushbuttons, five input selector switches, and six output indicators all prewired to the SLC-100. Also includes three manuals, experiments, line cord, and programmer interface cable and velco restraints.

Clean community college surplus seems to have had very light use.

Besides its obvious intended purpose, this compact top quality Tek switching mode power supply system seems perfect for many mid-sized mixed analog/digital systems.

Consists of two units, a 7x10x10 inch, 110 volt ac powered, fan cooled aluminum cube and a fused distribution card. Four DIP connectors go between supply and card. The card itself terminates in a 100 pin 2x50 0.1 edge connector.

No docs. Test points on the card greatly simplify tracing and dealing with the remote sensing. The fuses are on the six highest power outputs and are ~inside~ the sensing loops.

We are not sure of the exact ratings, but there appear to be a pair of high current MECL supplies of the usual -2 and -5.2 volts. Five additional high current supplies provide +5 volts, +15 volts, -15 volts, +50 volts and -50 volts. There also appears to be a pair of higher voltage, lower current supplies of +130 volts and +365 volts. Raw unregulated +17 and -17 might also be available.

Removed from clean and apparently low use mil surplus equipment. Untested. Believed fully functional, guaranteed servicible. Includes BNC connectors for remote enable and actuate.
